A well-known pair of Louboutins may be stepping onto the set of ‘Glee,’ representing the latest of several famous faces to grace the Fox hit.
‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy says he is having dinner “soon” with Jennifer Lopez to discuss the possibility of the multi-hyphenate beauty guest-starring as a crazy lunch lady to whom Kurt gives a glam makeover.
Murphy is also hot to borrow Neil Patrick Harris from CBS’ ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ for a role in the May sweeps episode being directed by Joss Whedon – aka NPH’s Dr. Horrible boss – says EW.com’s Michael Ausiello. The Eye, however, has yet to say “aye” to its hitcom star making beautiful music for the competition.
‘Glee’ executive producer Brad Falchuk, meanwhile, told E! Online that he’s got no less than the Boss, Bruce Springsteen, in his own crosshairs, and hopes to make that guest gig happen.
Already during its freshman season, ‘Glee’ has attracted the likes of Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth and, in upcoming episodes, fellow Broadway babies Idina Menzel (‘Wicked’) and Jonathan Groff (with whom ‘Glee’ lead Lea Michele costarred in ‘Spring Awakening’).
Barry Manilow is also set to stop by this season, while former disco queen Olivia Newton-John will perform a duet of “Physical” with Jane Lynch’s Sue Sylvester.
‘Glee’ resumes its freshman run on Tuesday, April 13.
