If Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh want to continue to make outrageous comments about Haiti, they’re going to have to deal with Keith Olbermann.

The MSNBC host railed against statements made by conservative pundit Limbaugh and evangelical minister Robertson during Wednesday’s ‘Countdown with Keith Olbermann.’

In particular, he took Robertson to task for claiming that the 7.0
magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti on Tuesday occurred because
Haitians “made a deal with the devil” in order to be freed from French rule.

Olbermann shot back: “Sir because of your tone deafness and your
delight in human misery…I’m likelier to believe that you are the
devil.”

And Limbaugh was dressed down for his comments that President Obama would use the Haitian tragedy as a political opportunity. In a vitriolic but composed tone, Olbermann addressed the pair.

“Mr. Robertson. Mr. Limbaugh. You serve no good, you serve no God. You inspire only stupidity and hatred, I would wish you to hell, but knowing how empty your souls must be to say such things in a time of such pain, I suspect the vacant purposeless lives you both live now are hell enough already.”
