Comcast On Demand today is premiering a big batch of movies you can dial up on your cable system right now, including wo Golden Globe Best Comedy nominees – The Hangover and 500 Days of Summer. Then there’s the only Sandra Bullock movie this year she wasn’t Globe-nommed for, All About Steve, also starring Bradley Cooper of The Hangover. Star Trek’s Chris Pine stars in the disease-disaster flick Carriers, and the explosive undercover documentary The Cove is a must-see.

The Hangover
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are three guys who wake up in a trashed hotel suite in Las Vegas after an insane bachelor party that none of them can remember, and when they realize they have no idea where the groom-to-be is, they struggle hilariously to piece together what the hell happened the night before that led to them having a tiger in their bathroom and one of them being married to Heather Graham.

500 Days of Summer
This Golden Globe nominee is a very unique and different take on the topic of love, which makes it only a quasi-romantic comedy, but definitely something to see. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Tom, a devastated greeting-card writer who has just been dumped by Summer (Zooey Deschanel), reflecting on their doomed but strongly affecting relationship and trying to make sense of how he came to love a girl who didn’t believe in the concept, how it all fell apart and how he can possibly win her back.

All About Steve
Sandra Bullock is Mary Horowitz, a quirky crossword-puzzle enthusiast whose blind date with news cameraman Steve (Bradley Cooper) becomes an obsession once Steve’s jerk colleague (Thomas Haden Church) fills her head with lies about him.

Carriers
Chris Pine and Piper Perabo are among a group of people doing their damnedest to stay alive once a global pandemic starts threatening to kill humanity off. But their path to survival is full of dark and ugly choices that may lead them to a fate worse than death.

The Cove
An undercover team of filmmakers manage to uncover a secretive and ruthless dolphin hunting operation off the coast of Japan in this unflinching documentary.
