“I just don’t see what the fuss is about”–Rachael Ray on her ‘rivalry’ with fellow domestic goddess Martha Stewart.

Rachael Ray appeared on ‘The Joy Behar Show’ Thursday night, where she openly discussed her feelings on the whole Martha Stewart situation.

“She’s very, very, focused,” Ray said of Stewart, “but I think that’s a very legitimate, fantastic way of teaching. It is the opposite end of how I teach. I like to go at it from, ‘Hey, if I can do it, believe me anybody can’ because for me, that’s my truth. Hers is, ‘This is perfect, and come as close as you can.’”

While there’s no denying the two TV personalities have very different approaches to cooking, Ray defended the quality of her food.

“[Martha] has beautiful food,” Ray said. “I’m very proud of my food, too. I think my food smells great and looks great and that anybody could reasonably do it in a reasonable amount of time.”

Stewart inadvertently caused a ruckus in a November interview when she insulted Ray’s earthy style, saying “That’s not good enough.” She publicly clarified her remarks soon after.

Behar, meanwhile, who’s been double-dipping as ‘View’ co-host, as well host of her own new show on HLN, has seen her prime-time ratings surge in recent weeks, reports the Huffington Post.
