There’s an update on the condition of Duggar Baby No. 19 aka Josie Brooklyn, who was born 15 weeks early on December 10th, weighing just 1 lb., 6 oz.
Jim Bob Duggar says his 19th wee one “is beautiful and in stable condition,” according to a family statement to RadarOnline.
Duggar’s wife Michelle was released from the hospital Tuesday evening and is doing “a lot better,” while Josie remains hospitalized at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
“Josie is doing as well as can be expected for a baby at her age. We are taking each hour as it comes,” says Michelle, according to People.
Daddy Duggar adds that everyone is “so grateful for all of the prayers and emails of support for our family” and “We are blessed to have Grandma Duggar to care for the rest of the family while we stay close to our baby girl during her recovery.”
The ‘18 and Counting‘ couple got a very early visit from the stork last week when Michelle, who wasn’t due until spring, was forced to have an emergency c-section because she suffered from preeclampsia, a condition that can occur during pregnancy that causes high blood pressure. The reality TV mom had been rushed to the hospital with contractions days earlier.
Josie Duggar joins siblings Josh, 21; twins Jana and John-David, 19; Jill, 18; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 13; Joy-Anna, 11; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 10; Jason, 9; James, 8; Justin, 6; Jackson, 5; Johanna, 3; Jennifer, 2, and Jordyn-Grace, 8 months.
