Steven Seagal Sets A Network Record

Steven Seagal brought movie-star clout and a cop’s authority to television.
His new A&E series, ‘Lawman,’ premiered back-to-back episodes on Wednesday night to record-breaking numbers, making it the most watched original show in the network’s history. The first episode pulled in a total of 3.4 million viewers and the second one added another 200,000 viewers.
‘Lawman’ follows the martial arts black belt actor’s “side job” as a deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana and includes intimate, action-packed ride-alongs to crime scenes with Seagal and other officers. The show also features Seagal’s musical performances.
