CBS Pulls ‘Three Rivers’ From Schedule

A mere two weeks after moving ‘Three Rivers‘ to a new timeslot in order to garner a ratings boost, CBS has yanked the medical drama from its December schedule.

The show will continue production to finish all 13 ordered episodes, but in the meantime will be replaced by repeats of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles,’ ‘Cold Case,’ and ‘Criminal Minds.’

While a network spokesperson confirmed that “no finale decision on its future has been made,” ratings for the freshman drama have been grim since its premiere in September.

Will series star Alex O’Loughlin – whose dearly departed vampire drama ‘Moonlight‘ had a significant fan base – be enough to bring ‘Three Rivers’ back from life support?
