Comcast On Demand today introduces two new films in glorious high-definition. First, there’s this summer’s relentlessly action-crammed pseudo-military fight-fest G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and for a more low-key and emotional affair, try the holiday dramedy Nothing Like The Holidays, starring John Leguizamo, Debra Messing and Alfred Molina. Get a closer look at both of these movies below.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
G.I. Joe is the code name for America’s daring, highly-trained special mission force. It’s purpose: to defend human freedom against Cobra, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world. They never give up, they stay ’til the fight’s won, G.I. Joe will dare. They’ll fight for freedom wherever there’s trouble. They’re always there fighting for freedom over land and air. A real American hero, G.I. Joe is there. Dennis Quaid is their General Hawk, Channing Tatum is Duke, the field leader, and Ray Park is their badass ninja warrior Snake-Eyes. Sienna Miller is the villainous Baroness, and Christopher Eccleston is the nefarious Destro.
Nothing Like The Holidays
John Leguizamo and Debra Messing are a married couple who go home to his raucous family home for Christmas, only to find out that his parents (Alfred Molina, Elizabeth Peña) are unexpectedly splitting up. It’s up to the rest of the brood to try to save that sacred marriage and find new ways to get along with each other.
