The Oprah talk-show factory is producing a new model…and this may be the most stylish one yet!

Interior designer Nate Berkus is the latest Oprah protege to fly the coop and land his own syndicated daytime show, according to Broadcasting & Cable.

The project, to be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions, is slated for a fall 2010 debut.

Berkus, who’s a regular contributor on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’ follows in the footsteps of Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz, as Oprah-backed personalities who launched successful solo shows.

The talk-show queen’s design expert since 2001, Berkus also appeared as the host of Oprah’s 2008 prime-time reality show, ‘Oprah’s Big Give.’
