Pixar’s Up, which is hopeful for a Best Picture nomination in this year’s expanded Academy Awards, is out on DVD today. Also available is an Uma Thurman rom-com with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Colin Firth entitled The Accidental Husband. Check out more information about these films below.

Up
Pixar is back with their yearly offering of animated genius. This time, they give us a story of a grumpy old widower named Carl Fredericksen (Ed Asner) who decides to honor his late wife’s dream by flying his house (and an unsuspecting young boy scout) to South America with thousands of balloons.

The Accidental Husband
Uma Thurman is a radio show host whose advice ruins fireman Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s life, and as a way to get back at her, he engineers a computer glitch that derails her marriage to Colin Firth. Her attempts to straighten this out eventually lead to an unexpected spark.

Also new on DVD: Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut.
