The Shield

Created by Shawn Ryan, the weekly, 60-minute cop drama ‘The Shield‘ may well have been the most cynical and uncompromising series ever developed for basic cable. The emphasis was on a tough, crime-infested L.A. police precinct and an elite team of troubleshooters headed by hard-bitten Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis). Undeniably efficient when it came to rounding up perps and cracking tough cases, Mackey was also relentlessly sadistic and foul-mouthed — not to mention corrupt to the bone. One of the most gripping, gritty series ever, this set is not to be missed. Buy the complete series collection right here.

Spin City

In ‘Spin City,’ Deputy Mayor Charlie Crawford and his City Hall staff must stop the dim-witted Mayor of New York City from embarrassing himself infront of the media and the voters. The staff consists of Caitlin Moore the Communications Director, Carter Haywood the head of Minority Affairs, Stuart Bondack the Chief of Staff, and Paul Lassider the Press Secretary. G.I. Joe: Resolute

Featuring a more sophisticated animation style and story than prior animation and intended for the adult fan that grew up with the brand in the ’80s, ‘G.I. Joe: Resolute‘ is an intense version of the battle between the G.I. Joe team and the menacing COBRA organization. The G.I. Joe team is a highly trained, classified special operations unit that officially doesn’t even exist. This elite team fights a secret war as the first and last line of defense against forces that seek to plunge our world into utter chaos. Buy the ‘G.I. Joe: Resolute’ DVD right here.
