Tuned In: What’s Hot In The World Of TV

There’s been no shortage of drama this season on ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ (8pm ET on Fox) from choreographer Mia Michaels tweeting her unexpected departure from the show to early favorite Ryan Kasprzak’s shocking early dismissal from Las Vegas week. Tonight, we finally find out who out of our favorites make it to the Top 20 and will compete for America’s votes starting next week. The anticipation is killing us! Will Billy Bell make it after moving judge Adam Shankman to tears last week? Will Russell become the first Krumper to advance to the Top 20? (We’re betting yes on both counts!)

The Perfect Schedule (Wednesday October 21)

8pm ET: So You Think You Can Dance‘ (Fox) The judges always send at least one seemingly shoo-in away in tears when the Top 20 are chosen. Let’s just hope they don’t do that to Billy Bell or Russell the Krumper.
9pm ET:Glee‘ (Fox) Stick with the back-to-back Fox shows tonight as Quinn and Finn struggle to retain their popularity as an all-out slushee war hits McKinley High. And as an added treat, look for Puck’s first solo tonight (“Sweet Caroline”).
10pm ET:Top Chef’ (Bravo) It’s the return of the popular Restaurant Wars in an expanded, 75-minute episode.

Tomorrow Night:

Tomorrow night’s broadcast of ‘Survivor: Samoa‘ (8pm ET on CBS) is a very different episode than we’ve ever seen. Alliances, competition and elimination take a backseat to raw emotion and human drama as a relentless storm pounds the island and the castaways’ comforts. The physical and emotional effects of the game – and Samoa in particular – take its toll on all the castaways, challenging even the toughest competitors. The elements and its aftermath lead to an episode in which “who gets voted off” is a secondary concern.
