The ‘FlashForward’ pick-up comes just days after ABC granted full-season orders to three of its Wednesday comedies – ‘Modern Family,’ ‘Cougar Town‘ and ‘The Middle.’

At this point, ‘Eastwick‘ and ‘Hank‘ are ABC’s only first-year series still awaiting word on their fate.

‘FlashForward’ stars Joseph Fiennes, Sonya Walger, John Cho and Courtney B. Vance, and follows the investigation of a phenomenon that caused the world’s entire population to black out for two minutes and 17 seconds.

Airing Thursdays at 8/7c, ‘FlashForward’ in its first week outdrew ‘Survivor‘ in total viewers, and thus far has consistently topped the coveted 18-49 demo. It also stands as the freshman series benefiting most from Live+7 DVR playback, reaping a two million viewer bump.
