‘Paranormal Activity’ Fighting To Open Wide

In a phenomenon not unlike the hysteria that surrounded The Blair Witch Project when it was first released back in 1999, another realistically creepy indie-horror movie sans stars is building up steam and getting audiences talking and shaking again. Paranormal Activity is out in limited release right now, and Paramount is trying to curry enough support to justify a release to theaters nationwide. The word is that if they get one million horror fans “demanding” it at their website, they’ll bring this reality ghost story everywhere. So you could have a chance to determine whether or not a movie will soon be playing at a theater near you.
