There’s more Grecian formula from Nia Vardalos playing a romantically-challenged tour guide in My Life In Ruins, while an epic animated war story determining the survival of humanity vs. the survival of the peace-loving natives of the planet they hope to settle on in Battle for Terra. My Life In Ruins
Nia Vardalos of My Big Fat Greek Wedding returns with another Greek story – this time as a frustrated and lonely tour guide dealing with annoying tourists (Harland Williams, Rachel Dratch) and a burgeoning surprise of a love affair with the strange bus driver (Alexis Georgoulis) carting her group around.
Battle for Terra
The last remnants of humanity, having destroyed Earth, is traveling through space on a rickety starship when they find a planet that the aggressive General Hemmer (Brian Cox) wants to terraform into their new home. But when soldier Jim Stanton (Luke Wilson) meets native creature Mala (Evan Rachel Wood) and discovers that there’s already a very peaceful civilization on the planet that would be killed in the terraforming process, a battle is forced between the two races for the right to survive.
