Amaury Nolasco makes another break for it.
The former ‘Prison Break’ star has left NBC’s sophomore cop hit, ‘Southland,’ where he played Det. Lydia Adams’ rauckus partner for just three episodes.
Clifton Collins has been hired to fill in the empty spot. Collins is best known for his dark, eccentric roles in films ‘Capote,’ ‘Sunshine Cleaning,’ and ‘Star Trek.’ He will play character Ray Suarez.
The new season kicks off Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
