Megan Fox has made a lot of negative comments about working for Transformers director Michael Bay, dissing his penchant for ignoring any actual characterization and recently saying that he tries to “create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for,” in terms of his demeanor on set. Well, three members of Bay’s crew decided enough was enough and completely eviscerated Fox in an anonymous open letter in defense of Bay, who himself said he doesn’t condone this letter or the things Fox has said about him – although he says “her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm,” he loves working with her and he knows they still get along.
These crew members say they have been working with him for ten years, and they describe themselves thusly: “One of us touches Megan’s panties, the other has the often shitty job of pulling Ms. Sourpants out of her trailer, while another is near the Panaflex camera that helps to memorialize the valley girl on film.” More importantly, they describe Fox thusly: “a thankless, classless, graceless, and shall we say unfriendly bitch;” “the queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star;” “dumb-as-a-rock;” and as “ungracious a person as you can ever fathom.”
Those are some extremely harsh words. They claim she never thanks any of the crew and won’t even say hello to them, she blew off the Prince of Jordan while filming in Egypt, she’s constantly late to set and wouldn’t even leave her trailer until John Turturro did first, and that one of the grips on the set wouldn’t let his daughters meet Megan because “she is not nice.” They also complain about how long they have to spend in make-up covering up her “awful silly” tattoos, and they say that there was an occasion where Bay tried to make the best of filming delays by arranging a private tour of the pyramids in Egypt during the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen production, and Fox whined and complained that she was being forced to do it. On top of all of that, they think she isn’t even good at her job, citing the “unbearable time of watching her try to act on set, and yes, it’s very cringe-able. So maybe, being a porn star in the future might be a good career option.”
It seems like the Hitler comment is the straw that broke the camel’s back. “We actually don’t think she knows who Hitler is by the way,” the letter says. “But we wondered how she doesn’t realize what a disgusting, fully uneducated comment this was?”
Yes, it’s unbelievable verbal brutality here. The question now: how will the notoriously unfiltered Fox respond to this? Will she shrink back and start watching her mouth, or will she go on the offensive? This definitely bears watching.
