TMZ is reporting that actor Tom Sizemore has been charged with spousal battery after an altercation that took place in early August.

Sizemore was arrested August 6th after his girlfriend called police and alleged that he had assaulted her.

The actor is in this season’s ‘Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew’ along with Heidi Fleiss, whom the actor has a history with. Back in 2003, he was tried and convicted of assaulting her while they dated.

Sizemore was also a guest star on last season’s ‘Southland,’ playing – what else? A difficult celebrity with drug issues.
