90210
Kelly? Check. Brenda? Check? Donna? Check. The boys? Not so much. Still, season one of ‘90210‘ was a tasty mix of past favorites and fresh, new characters (the burning-to-be-bad Annie, neurotic Silver, good guy Dixon). Launched to heavy fanfare, the series found its way in the second part of its initial season and has some nice momentum going into the season two premiere next month on The CW. Designing Women
The four southern belles (and Anthony) are back for more in season two of the beloved ‘Designing Women.’ Many fans say this is where the series really hit its stride. Bernice pops in more and more, and guest stars such as Gerald McRaney (the future Mr. Delta Burke), Scott Bakula and Billy Baldwin add to the fun. The City
Whitney Port struck out on her own in ‘The City,’ a spinoff of ‘The Hills’ in which our wannabe fashionista packed up her things and moved across the country to New York. What did she find? A tough job at DVF, a catty co-worker (the eye-rollingly bitchy Olivia) and some roommate drama of course. Oh and a rocker boyfriend, naturally, who could just be stringing her along. Fun music, pretty people, and lots of drama – did you expect anything less? Buy the season one DVD right here.
