Getting back into the spirit of Elaine Benes was “eerily easy,” according to Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The New Adventures of Old Christine star opened up about the Seinfeld cast reunion on the upcoming season of Curb Your Enthusiasm on the Warner Brothers lot in Los Angeles Friday.

“Frankly it was as if we had taken a three week hiatus, only with better computers,” Dreyfus joked of returning to set with her former co-stars. “Everything fell together as if we hadn’t missed a beat.”

When asked her thoughts on putting a reunion together on ‘Curb’ instead of as a stand alone special, Dreyfus said “it was sort of the ideal way to do it, and not in a sad way.”

“We had a ball,” she added “although it was a very different situation since it was improvised.”

Here’s to hoping at least one scene involves an improvised “Elaine Dance.”
