Could Rachel Katz (né Menken) be returning to Mad Men this season? Maybe.

Maggie Siff, who played Don Draper’s (Jon Hamm) former department store-owning lover on the AMC series, was at the Fox Press Tour Party in Pasadena, Calif. Thursday.

When asked if the newly-married Rachel would be back for any episodes in the upcoming third season of Mad Men, Siff coyly smiled and said, “I don’t think I can say. There’s a reason [executive producer] Matt Weiner keeps things secret.” In other words: read between the lines.

Up next for Siff is a return to season two of FX’s drama Sons of Anarchy, premiering September 8. Of her reformed bad girl character Tara Knowles, Siff said “the important thing in thinking about the character is that she comes from this world. It’s a great circling back to where she started. That in essence is the conflict of the character. It’s a very real and primal thing that happens to a lot of us to sort out some dark subterranean thing that we’re half conscious of.”

Its also sort of a love story,” she added about her storyline with Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam). “This is sort of the one person in her life that she’s ever felt a real connection with.”
