Well…sort of. Bravo reality TV contestants seem to like to keep it in the family, because ‘Top Chef’ Season Four contestant Nikki Cascone, has asked ‘Project Runway’ Season Four winner Christian Siriano to design an eco-friendly wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials, PR Web reports.
Cascone, who is engaged to Brad Grossman, her business partner and co-chef at their restaurant, 24 Prince in New York, is planning an entirely green wedding, which means they’ll choose an environmentally friendly venue, utilize group transportation for guests, and cook only the best organic cuisine. And thanks to Siriano, she’ll have an eco-conscious couture dress to boot.
“As a chef, I tried to explain to him my perspective of organic living: why not only food and the products I use in it are important to me, but that I also want it to come through in as many aspects of my lifestyle as possible,” Cascone wrote on her blog of her collaboration with Siriano. She’s been chronicling her wedding planning process at The Green Bride Guide, an online resource for green weddings.
“One of the reasons it is so important to me to share this blog is to help raise the awareness of couples and families that may not even know they have options: eco-friendly, healthy options,” she continued.
No other details were released on what kind of dress Siriano will create for the 2010 wedding, but one thing’s for sure, it’s sure to be fierce. So, now, we’re only left to wonder which other Bravo alum might take part in the big day; Heidi Klum and Padma Lakshmi as bridesmaids, perhaps?
