Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that former ‘Sopranos’ star Jamie-Lynn Sigler has joined the cast of ‘Ugly Betty.’

Sigler, 28, who currently has a recurring role on HBO’s ‘Entourage,’ will reportedly play Natalie, a new assistant for Mode magazine exec Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius). Natalie replaces Betty (America Ferrera), as Meade’s assistant. Betty, as you may recall, was promoted to the magazine’s features editor in last season’s finale.

Sigler will debut in this season’s second episode – after October 9th’s two-hour premiere.
