Tuned In: What’s Hot In The World Of TV

Miley Cyrus has still got it! Friday night’s Disney Channel cross-over event ‘Wizards On Deck With Hannah Montana,’ which featured tied-in episodes of ‘Hannah Montana,’ ‘The Wizards of Waverly Place,’ and ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody‘ pulled in 9.3 million viewers Friday night. This makes it the Disney Channel’s most watched night since airing ‘High School Musical 2‘ all the way back in 2007.

Sunday Night Highlights:

With a fresh ‘True Blood,’ ‘Entourage,’ and the summer madness that is ‘Big Brother,’ there was plenty of highlights on TV last night:

On ‘True Blood,’ Sookie and Bill got to enjoy the comforts of staying at a vampire hotel as the lovebirds enjoyed sleeping in the same bed together overnight, instead of having Bill have to slink back to his coffin. Maryanne continued to exert her influence on Tara while Sookie is in Dallas, somehow weaseling her way into staying with Tara at Sookie’s house. And the Jason Stackhouse we know and love from last season finally resurfaced as the preacher’s wife forcefully grabbed hold of him in the bath. (Can a full-fledged, torrid affair be that far behind?)

On ‘Entourage,’ the boys enjoyed the premiere of Vince’s new Scorsese film “Gatsby” while E struggled with his feelings for Sloane. Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Turtle finally debuted publicly as a couple on the red-carpet (sealed with a smooch for the TV cameras) and Ari’s plans for a happy couple night with Mrs. Ari and new TV agent Andrew and his wife were foiled when he discovered Andrew is getting a little too cozy with a much younger female agent. Oh, and Lloyd’s starving himself by just eating grapes in hopes of losing the 15 pounds Ari told him to.

‘Big Brother’ is rounding into form as the house was trying to sniff out the rat last night. Someone broke allegiances and voted to evict Braden instead of Chima, and the house wants to know who it was. While Ronnie suggested Michelle, the house found out it was Ronnie himself when nominations were announced and Laura and Jeff were put on the block. Oh Ronnie, you are playing way too hard too early – have you learned nothing from watching past BB seasons??
