Dave Attell Is Miserable, Fox Features Fall, Jon Stewart Hits Iran, And More

Stewart Does Iran: Upon the heels of Stephen Colbert’s visit to the troops overseas, Jon Stewart wants to tackle the Islamic Republic of Iran himself. The ‘Daily Show’s’ foreign correspondent, Jason Jones, will travel to the country to file reports all week. “Jason Jones in Iran: Access of Evil,” kicks off Monday, June 22. Attell Packs On The Punch: Comedy Central brings you the premiere of ‘Dave Attell: Captain Miserable,’ Sunday July 5 at 10pm. In the special, Attell, the man who Comedy Central touts “knows more about Jägermeister and dead prostitutes,” than anyone else, will tackle global warming, strippers, drunk driving and talking dinosaurs.

Fox Dates: Fox’s premiere dates for their funny new series have been announced; ‘Glee’ comes out September 16, ‘Brothers,’ September 18, ‘The Cleveland Show,’ September 27 and the latest late-night sensation, ‘The Wanda Sykes Show’ comes at you November 7. The new season of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ will kick the season off on Wednesday, September 16.

‘The Biggest Loser’s’ Back: With most of last season’s contestants already teeny tiny, the new season of ‘Biggest Loser’ is casting for its next batch of motivated men and women. Starting June 27, auditions for family teams of two will be held in Chicago, Detroit, San Jose, Tampa, Atlanta, Mobile, New York City, San Antonio, Dallas, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Des Moines and Los Angeles. Individual contestants can also apply on their own.
