Tragedy strikes another former child star.

The husband of Sidney Greenbush shot himself in the head on May 5th, two days after the ‘Little House on the Prairie‘ actress asked him for a divorce, according to Star.

Sidney is best known as Carrie Ingalls, a role she and her twin sister Lindsay shared on ‘Little House’ from 1974-1982.

Greenbush, now 39, retired from acting and lived on a ranch with her 55-year-old husband William “Rocky” Foster, a veterinarian and horse breeder. The couple had been married for nine years.
