Don’t you love when the good guy wins?

Chuck‘ is back! NBC has renewed the action comedy for 13 episodes.

Okay, the spy guys weren’t in true danger of cancellation…they had to bring it back, right? It’s too good not to, and that little ‘Save Chuck’ campaign couldn’t have hurt.

Meanwhile, Scrubs, the show that is perpetually in danger of cancellation, is bouncing back like a cat with nine lives.

ABC announced the zany comedy will be back for a ninth season (its second year on ABC).

Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke have re-signed for six additional episodes to help usher in the new cast members who will takeover the comedy once they depart for good. John C. McGinley, Donald Faison and Neil Flynn are still on board as series regulars.

The biggest surprise, however, is that ‘Dollhouse‘ still gets to play on Friday nights.

The outlook on the low-rated series was bleak, but now it looks like Echo really is getting a reboot.

Fox is expected to announce Monday a second season of 13 episodes for the Joss Whedon series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
