Check out seven more intense clips after the jump!

Here there be spoilers, so be forewarned!

In this clip, we see how John Connor has made himself the spiritual leader of the resistance against Skynet’s army of machine soldiers, by broadcasting messages of hope and inspiration to the humans who have managed to stay alive.

The mysterious Marcus finds himself alone after an attack, but meets up with resistance fighter Blair (Moon Bloodgood).

Not all humans are down with organized resistance. Even when struggling for survival, humankind can turn on itself, as Blair discovers here.

Marcus has made his way to the resistance, only to find that John Connor is in no way pleased to have him there once his secret is revealed.

Blair argues with John and later Kate Connor (Bryce Dallas Howard) about the fate of Marcus.

When John learns who Skynet has taken prisoner, he pleads with General Ashdown (Michael Ironside) to abort the massive strike the resistance has planned, and Barnes (Common) has his back.

The mission to save Kyle puts John right in the heart of Skynet, and right in the path of a brand new T-800.
