For five years, Oprah Winfrey has received on-air medical advice from Dr. Mehmet Oz. But on Tuesday’s show, she’ll bid farewell to the good, no make that great doctor, who will launch his own talk show in the fall.

Dr. Oz has made 55 appearances on Winfrey’s talk show, dispensing advice on everything from weight to heart disease. Winfrey is sending him off with his own “Best Of” show.

According to reports, Winfrey will serve up “amazing reunions, embarrassing questions, funniest moments and the moment that brought Dr. Oz to tears.”

One reunion is with a boy cared for by Dr. Oz after Hurricane Katrina. One guest will be Jai Pausch, widow of “Last Lecture” author Randy Pausch.

Look for Winfrey and Dr. Oz, also a bestselling author, heart surgeon and surgery professor at Columbia University, to toast each other.

Their wish? Well, since they already have prosperity, they’ll probably drink to good health.
