Update:

Hef reportedly called E!’s Marc Malkin to deny this report…

“I am now in one of the best relationships in memory with Crystal Harris and the twins,” Hef told Malkin. “I’m not going to screw it up with former girlfriends. The notion that I would want [Holly] back as a girlfriend is bizarre.

“I would not trade Crystal Harris for anybody in the else in the world. And then this thing comes out and today is Crystal’s birthday…It’s ridiculous.” –

With all of the scantily-clad women running around the Playboy Mansion, you wouldn’t think that Hugh Hefner would pine for a lost love.

However, the 83-year-old icon seems to regret letting Holly Madison, 29, out the mansion’s front door. In the upcoming debut issue of Los Angeles Confidential, Hefner said that he’d welcome Madison back because she is still the “love of his life.”

“I loved my time at the mansion and think the world of Hef,” Madison told Fox News in response to the article. “There comes a time in everyone’s life where they need to go their own way.”

Sorry Hef, Seems that Madison, who recently has moved on from Las Vegas magician Chris Angel, may be too far gone – looks like you’ll have to go back to the litter or at least hang on to current girlfriend, Crystal Harris.
