Jeff Corwin Readies ‘Extreme Cuisine’ For The Food Network

Jeff Corwin knows his way around elephants, hippos, crocs – and apparently the dinner table.

The wildlife expert signed with the Food Network for a new series called ‘Extreme Cuisine With Jeff Corwin.’ It will follow the Emmy-winning host of Animal Planet’s “Corwin’s Quest” as he travels the world and samples exotic foods.

Corwin also signed up a special for MSNBC, ‘One Hundred Heartbeats,” based on his upcoming book about species in danger of extinction.

Since 2000, Jeff has partnered with Animal Planet and Discovery Communications as host and executive producer of ‘The Jeff Corwin Experience‘. He also serves as the executive producer of ‘Corwin’s Quest.’ His first book, Living on the Edge: Amazing Relationships in the Natural World, from Rodale Publishing, is available in paperback.

When not in the field, Jeff lectures on wildlife, ecology and conservation to audiences across the United States. He lives off the coast of Massachusetts with his wife Natasha and daughter Maya Rose.
