Chris Rock plans to end his successful CW series, ‘Everybody Hates Chris‘.

It is being reported that the cast of the series told TV Guide that the show may be nearing its end. The end was inevitable, primarily because the series was not picked up for a fifth season. However, the fact that Chris Rock never graduated from High School and began his comedy career at 17 may also make the move necessary.

“Our Chris is now a sophomore in high school, so the timing is lining up pretty well,” said Terry Crews, who plays Rock’s father. “Once he becomes a comedian, the show’s over.”

Tyler James Williams (Young Chris), foreshadows the ending, saying “An envelope arrives (with his high-school equivalency results), but before we find out the results, we fade to black. If it ends here, we ended it the right way.”

Chris Rock added “It might not be a bad way to go.”
