Here’s the morning news:

An Amazing Race
It’s an amazing bike ride! Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan is embarking on a cross-country ride across the nation to support the battle against multiple sclerosis. His trip will begin in Los Angeles on March 28 and end in New York on May 9, just in time for the Amazing Race season finale.

Matthews’s Mic Slip
Today brings a big oops over at MSNBC; Hardball host Chris Matthews was overheard uttering “Oh God” on the air right before Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal gave the Republican response to Obama’s address to Congress. Matthew’s excuse? That he was looking at Jindal’s “peculiar stagecraft…the odd anti-bellum [sic] look of the scene. Was this some mimicking of a president walking along the state floor to the East Room?”

I’m an American Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here
NBC is in talks to bring back a second edition of the UK hit, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! to the U.S. The series is a campy celeb version of Big Brother-meets-Survivor, featuring various stars living in difficult conditions. The UK version recently featured George Takei and Martina Navratilova.

Army Wives
Lifetime has renewed ‘Army Wives’ for its fourth season. The show was a huge ratings draw for them, having pulled in record numbers. Brigid Brannagh, one of the stars of the series, once told Fancast that some of their biggest fans were real-life army wives who were stationed all over the world, no doubt adding to their ratings success.

Melrose Place: First Actor Cast
Michael Rady of Swingtown is the first actor to be picked up for a role in the new Melrose Place. He will play Jonah Miller, “a cute and quirky 25-year-old aspiring filmmaker who makes his living as a videographer of weddings and bar mitzvahs for the rich and famous after moving to Los Angeles with his fiancee a year ago.” How very viral video blog-worthy!

SYTYCD
