Oscar Ratings Up Lucky 13%

New York, Chicago and LA love the Oscars. They were top three highest-rated markets in the country, followed by Boston and Kansas City. In general, Academy Awards were viewed by an average ot 36.3 million people – up 13% over last year’s all-time low.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network’s red carpet pre-show was also up by the same percentage, enjoying 24.3 million viewers.
