According to the Washington Post, Sam Donaldson will retire from full-time work at ABC News next week.

Donaldson, who served as the White House correspondent for the Carter, Reagan and Clinton administrations has been at ABC News for 41 years. The four-time Emmy award winner will continue to appear as a panelist on ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos‘ and will also contribute to ABC radio.
