Here’s what’s hot this morning:

ABC, CBS and FX have brand spankin’ new shows in development. ABC’s No Heroics follows the lives of wacky superheroes who like to hang out at a bar; CBS is developing I Witness, about a psycho-somatic female detective; FX’s Light Out centers on a old time boxer who is losing his memory while holding down a working class job.

The Heigl/Knight rumor has been let out of the bag, and Nicollette Sheridan is headed out of Desperate Housewives, but another star may be exiting ABC. Balthazar Getty, whose affair with Sienna Miller may have hurt his relationships with his co-stars, may have found his panacea by leaving Brothers & Sisters, either temporarily or permanently.

Octuplets Mom is said to be looking over ideas for reality shows, films and book deals. “People who made the offers are very serious,” says her publicist.

It was fun while it lasted, but now it’s time to put Starter Wife to rest. USA has permanently canceled Debra Messing’s Starter Wife, which followed the plight of a newly-divorced First Wife in the film industry. The first season, which only consisted of five episodes, successfully pulled in five million viewers. The second 10-episode season run pulled in 2.4 million.

What happened leading up to Chris Brown’s attack on Rihanna? Brown had received a text message from another woman, which started the heated argument. When the attack had ended, Rihanna’s eyes were said to be swollen shut due to Brown’s punches.
