America’s Sweetheart, Katherine Heigl, is starting to seem a little less sweetheart and a little more America’s Little Brat. First she complains about the lack of comedic breaks for women in the screenplay for her film, Knocked Up, and today comes news that she is uncomfortable with the quality of writing on her bread-and-butter show, Grey’s Anatomy, stating it is not worthy of an Emmy. “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization,” she would not throw her hat into the ring. She added, “In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials.”
Way to burn your bridges, girl! Judging from Katherine Heigl’s previous projects, such as the lucrative ‘Bride of Chuckie‘, the Oscar-winning ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’, and of course the unforgettable ‘Under Siege 2: Dark Territory‘, Grey’s Anatomy rescued her from life as a “former child actress.”[Yahoo!
