Fergie’s Plans for New Years

Fergie

Fergie will be hosting part of Dick Clark’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” this year. The television event will include performances by Akon, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Kingston, Onerepublic, Plain White T’s, Taylor Swift and Will.I.AM. My distaste for Fergie began during her time in the group Wild Orchid. If I recall correctly, the trio once went on MTV to declare that they were the most beautiful gals in the music industry (or something lame like that). Uh, it’s called modesty, ladies??? And they weren’t really that pretty in the first place!

But I have really taken a liking to Fergie as of late, particularly as she recently played it cool for the latest issue of Blender magazine. In the issue, she brushes off rumors and um, let’s just say, embarrassing moments involving “on stage accidents” that have plagued her this past year. She says, “I was late, so I didn’t go to the restroom before I went onstage. It was horrible. But whatever. It happened.” This gal has just crossed over to my cool chick list.
