From August through Championship Sunday on May 11, 2014, Premier League matches will air live from the United Kingdom every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. ET until approximately 3:00 p.m ET, with additional matches Sunday mornings from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. ET, and Mondays at 3:00 p.m. ET. So what does this mean for XFINITY subscribers? It means you’ll be able to watch the very best international soccer stars on multiple platforms like never before. It’s the ultimate fix for Premier League fans.
What follows is a brief breakdown of the general package being offered and how you can access weekly multi-platform coverage across NBC networks, plus live match streaming and replays via XFINITY ON Demand.
Premier League Extra Time
Each Week, 5-6 of the 10 Premier League matches will be featured live on the networks of NBC, including NBC, NBC Sports Network, Telemundo, mun2, CNBC and additional channels. The remaining matches, known as “overflow matches,” will be available to you live via an innovative feature accessible through the XFINITY ON Demand menu. These overflow matches will generally air at 10 a.m. ET on Saturdays and occasionally at other times throughout the weekend. There’s also a nifty Gamefinder where you can enter your ZIP code and select cable provider to find matches each week.
Here’s the important part: XFINITY customers can watch Premier League Extra Time overflow matches live ON Demand via the following category path: Sports & Fitness > Premier League > Live Matches.
Premier League Replays ON Demand
In addition to one-of-a-kind live access to all 10 weekly matches on TV and online, XFINITY customers can watch a limited number of full match replays (subject to rights) ON Demand. To access these replays, all you need to do is go to the ON Demand menu and use the following category path: Sports & Fitness > Premier League > Match Replays.
