Phil Mickelson had a memorable performance in Scottsdale last week. He came within a lip-out of shooting a 59 and almost carded the best 72-hole total in PGA Tour history.
This Saturday at Pebble Beach couldn’t have been as enjoyable. Mickelson dropped 17 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a round of 1-over par and took a nasty spill on the rocks. Take a look for yourself, right after you’re done trying to figure out what the heck was he doing on the rocks in the first place.
And guess who is in first place entering the final day of the celebrity competition? None other than Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. For Romo’s sake, let’s just hope it doesn’t come down to a putt on the 18th hole.
