Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has seen an enormous amount of support from folks during his battle with leukemia. Many of the Colts players played with shaved heads on Sunday; but during the game, two Colts cheerleaders stepped it up a notch.
The Colts mascot, Blue, recently issued a challenge to Colts cheerleaders: if they could raise $10,000 for leukemia by Nov. 25, one cheerleader would shave her head in honor of Coach Chuck Pagano. They easily surpassed their goal ($22,670) and two cheerleaders, Crystal Anne and Megan M., agreed to have their heads shaved during Sunday’s game against the Bills.
Check out the below GIF of Crystal Anne and Megan M. getting their heads shaved during the game in support of Coach Pagano and leukemia research. Pagano was hospitalized from Sept. 26 until Oct. 21 following his diagnosis and has been receiving chemotherapy ever since.
