Brandon Crawford and Pablo Sandoval Team Up for Catch of The Year Candidate
by Xfinity Sports | August 29, 2012 at 9:29 AM | Cosby Sweaters, General
During the bottom of the first inning between the San Francisco Giants and the Houston Astros, an Astros foul ball was hit down the third baseline and Pablo Sandoval went charging after it. Sandoval overran the fly ball but managed to bobble the ball, twice, just enough to keep it alive. On the second bobble the ball took a fortuitous bounce (without touching the ground) near Brandon Crawford who laid out for the incredible catch to end the inning. You won’t find a better tandem catch this year, or any year for that matter.
