Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan is reportedly giving marriage another shot, this time with his girlfriend of more than three years, Yvette Prieto.
A publicist for the six-time NBA champion and current owner of the Bobcats confirmed the news to WCNC in Charlotte on Thursday. Jordan proposed over the Christmas holiday and the couple has yet to set an official wedding date.
Jordan was married for 17 years to Juanita Vanoy. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine. Vanoy filed for divorce in 2002, citing irreconcilable differences, but the two soon worked it out. In 2006, however, Jordan and Vanoy again filed for divorce in what was documented as a mutual and amicable split. Vanoy is rumored to have received an estimated $168 million in the settlement.
