Demi Moore’s breakdown and subsequent stint in rehab after splitting with Ashton Kutcher last November has reportedly put a strain on her relationship with her three daughters, so much so that they may be seeking a restraining order against the distraught actress.
Daily Mail reports that the girls—whose father is Demi’s ex-husband Bruce Willis—are believed to be fed up with their mom, who “incessantly” tries to call them.
“Rumer, Scout and Tallulah are seriously considering taking out a restraining order against Demi to stop her from contacting them,” a source revealed.
“They made it clear to her weeks ago that they do not want to talk to her right now, but she is still trying to contact them,” the source continued. “Demi has been calling them incessantly and emailing them, leaving them tearful messages and begging them to call her, and the girls are sick of it.”
According to the site, a legal expert explained that the girls aren’t likely to be successful in securing a restraining order just because their mom calls a lot.
“If that were the case, many, many more people would all be in court,” the expert said.
Moore’s daughters remained by her side during her divorce from Kutcher and the time she spent in rehab. But it was recently reported that Demi’s daughters had cut her off, which “devastated” her. They’d apparently told their mother they “need a little distance.”
Another source said: “Demi is messy right now and the girls have been waiting to get out and move on, and now they’re being sucked back in.”
