A Little League team got some much needed cash after a local strip club chipped in last week to save their season, the Daily Breeze reports.
The Lennox Little League, located in a low-income area near the Los Angeles International Airport, was facing the possibility of missing the season due in part to a restriction on selling concessions.
That’s when the Jet Strip – an area strip club – stepped in with $1,200 to bankroll the league’s season.
While the Lennox Little League isn’t sure how it’s going to help the nearly 300 kids served by the group next year, organizers are glad Jet Strip stepped up to the plate.
“It feels good to be from Lennox when people do stuff like that,” volunteer Roberto Aguirre told the Daily Breeze. “At the same time, the future is very scary for us, because (the donation) is a one-time deal.”
