After grossing more than $1.355 billion internationally, “The Avengers” producers have reportedly offered Scarlett Johansson $20 million to reprise her role as Black Widow in the blockbuster’s sequel, according to the New York Post.

This is set to be a record-breaking payment for an actress, more than Angelina Jolie’s $19 million for “The Tourist” in 2010.

Forbes recently named Kristen Stewart as the highest-paid actress in Hollywood, having banked $34.5 million over the course of 12 months. Johansson didn’t even make the list.

Luckily for the sexiest woman alive, having starred in the third-highest grossing movie in history has catapulted her into the realm of Hollywood’s elite.

There have even been rumors circulating of a possible Black Widow spinoff, to which Johansson told the Huffington Post she was absolutely open.

“I love her origin story,” she said. “I hope that the fans’ voice is loud enough and they want to see a Widow origin story; I know Marvel would be happy to entertain that. We’ve spoken a lot about it.”

Until then, fans can root for the curvy superhero in “Avengers 2,” which is currently in development.
