In the world of entertainment, there is no week bigger than this.

The 84th annual Academy Awards are this Sunday, February 26. On this night, Hollywood comes together to honor the very best in cinematic achievement. From the red carpet to the ceremony to the after-parties, Oscar night is Tinseltown’s Super Bowl.

On Friday, I’m heading out to sunny California to begin my extensive coverage of this year’s awards. Each day this week, check out the XFINITY Movie Blog for Oscar news, predictions, history and more as we prepare for the big event. This weekend, join me live from Hollywood as I bring you up-to-the-minute Oscars coverage, including live blogs, live chats, interviews, photos, video and more.

Today, let’s take a look at an easy five-step process to help prepare you for Hollywood’s biggest night.

STEP 4: The Ballot

It’s time to pick your ponies! Which stars and films are taking home a priceless golden trophy? Print out your very own XFINITY Oscars Ballot (and five for your friends and family) and see if you can choose the night’s winners.

STEP 5: The Big Night

The Academy Awards air live Sunday, February 26 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. Tune in to Xfinity.com for a live Oscars chat beginning at 7 p.m. EST with red carpet coverage, and continuing until the end of the show.

I’ll be hosting the chat live from the Oscars with exclusive notes and observations from the red carpet before heading backstage to interview the night’s winners as they enter the Press Room. Do you have a question for Meryl Streep? Is there something you’re dying to ask George Clooney? Submit your question during the live chat and I just might ask the stars themselves.

We’re less than a week away, folks – better get started!
